Removal [06/2015 - 11/2018]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018] 

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER 

    See step  6

  3. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 

    See step  7

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 

    See step  10

  5. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 

    See step  13

  6. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  14

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamps to remove the front seat wire RH.
  8. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Disengage the clamps to disconnect the front seat airbag wire.

    4. Disengage the clamps to disconnect the front seat wire.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT 

    See step  21

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD) 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts to disconnect the 2 front seatback cover brackets.

    2. Pull out the rear end portion of the front seatback heater assembly (front seatback with cover pad) in the direction indicated by the arrows (1) in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)
    3. Lift up in the direction indicated by the arrows (2) in the illustration to remove the front seatback heater assembly (front seatback with cover pad).
    4. Remove the front seatback protector.
