Inspection [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD LH 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Front Seatback With Cover Pad LH)

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Always (20 °C (68 °F)) 3.34 to 4.00 Ω
        1 - 3 Always (20 °C (68 °F)) 3.34 to 4.00 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK WITH COVER PAD RH 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Always (20 °C (68 °F)) 3.34 to 4.00 Ω
        1 - 3 Always (20 °C (68 °F)) 3.34 to 4.00 Ω

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Front Seatback With Cover Pad RH)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly RH.
