Installation [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 
    1. Push down in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, engage the claws to install the 2 rear seat cushion lock hooks.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for both sides.

      Install in this Direction
  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Move the rear seatback assembly into the vehicle.
      NOTE:
      • When moving the rear seatback assembly into the vehicle, perform the work with at least 2 people.
      • Be careful not to damage or scratch the vehicle body or body interior.
      • Do not damage the vehicle.
    2. Engage the hooks.

    3. Pass the rear seat 3-point type outer belt assembly RH and rear seat 3-point type outer belt assembly LH through to engage the hook and loop fastener.
    4. Install the rear seatback assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf) 

    5. Pass the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly LH the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH.
    6. Pass the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly LH through the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH.
    7. Engage the claws to close the 2 caps of the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH.
      NOTE:

      Do not pinch the rear seat 3-point type outer belt assembly LH.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for both sides.

  3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Move the rear seat cushion assembly into the vehicle.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the vehicle.

    2. Pass the rear seatbelt inner LH through the rear seat cushion assembly.

      *1 Rear Seat Cushion Lock Hook
      *a Rear Seat Cushion Frame Rear Hook
      Install in this Direction (1)
      Install in this Direction (2)
    3. Align the rear portion of the rear seat cushion frame with the hook.
    4. Engage the hooks of the rear seat cushion lock hook portion to install the rear seat cushion assembly.
      NOTE:

      Check that the rear seat cushion lock hooks and the cushion frame are securely engaged.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
