DTC B2439: Headlamp LH Circuit; DTC B243A: Headlamp RH Circuit [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    2. Inspect the light using the dimmer switch.
    3. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs B2439 and B243A are not output A
      DTC B2439 is output B
      DTC B243A is output C

    Result: 

    A 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2015 - 11/2018]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2018 - ]

  3. REPLACE HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Temporarily replace the headlight unit assembly LH with a new or normally functioning one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - ]

  4. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2018 - ]

      Proceed to
      NEXT

  5. CHECK FOR DTC

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [06/2015 - ] 

  6. REPLACE HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Temporarily replace the headlight unit assembly RH with a new or normally functioning one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - ]

      Result

  7. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.
