DTC B1536: Short in Telephone SUB Antenna Circuit; DTC B1537: Open in Telephone SUB Antenna Circuit [01/2018 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Recheck for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   DTC B1536 or B1537 is output	A
   DTC B1536 or B1537 is not output	B

1. Disconnect the E antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the telephone and GPS antenna assembly (navigation antenna assembly).

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA (NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]

2. Disconnect the D antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   E-4a - D-1a	Always	Below 1 Ω

1. Replace the telephone and GPS antenna (navigation antenna assembly) with a known good one and check if the same problem occurs again.

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2018 - ]
