Reassembly [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

INSTALL FUEL PUMP

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2013 - 11/2016]

Apply gasoline to a new fuel pump filter seal. Then install the fuel pump filter seal and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.

Connect the fuel pump harness connector.
Engage the 5 claws and install the fuel pump to the fuel filter.
NOTE:
- Do not damage the fuel filter.
- Do not remove the suction filter from the fuel pump.
- Do not use either the fuel pump or suction filter if the suction filter is removed from the fuel pump.
Engage the 2 claws and install the No. 1 fuel suction support.

Engage the claw and connect the fuel pump filter hose while aligning it with the installation position of the fuel sub-tank.

NOTE:

Do not apply excessive force to the fuel tube or No. 1 fuel suction support.

Engage the 2 claws and install the fuel filter, fuel pump and spring to the fuel sub-tank.
Install a new E-ring to the fuel suction plate shaft.
Connect the fuel pump harness connector.
Connect the fuel pump harness to the harness clamp.
NOTE:
Do not damage the fuel pump harness.
