Precaution [12/2013 - 11/2016]

  1. INITIALIZATION 
    NOTE:
    • If the ECM is replaced, register the ECU communication ID for Immobilizer System.

      Refer to REGISTRATION [12/2013 - 11/2016]

    • Perform Registration (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM.

      Refer to REGISTRATION [12/2013 - 11/2016] 

    • Make sure to perform Reset Memory (A/T initialization), when replacing the automatic transaxle assembly, ECM or engine assembly.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2013 - ]

    • When the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following system(s) after the cable is reconnected.

      Parking Assist Monitor System Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2013 - 11/2016]
      Power Door Lock Control System
      Air Conditioning System (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)
      Air Conditioning System (for Manual Air Conditioning System)
      Power Back Door System
  2. WHEN USING TECHSTREAM 
    WARNING:

    Observe the following items for safety reasons:

    • Before using the Techstream, read the instruction manual.
    • Prevent the Techstream cable from being caught on the pedals, shift lever or steering wheel when driving with the Techstream connected to the vehicle.
    • When driving the vehicle for testing purposes using the Techstream, 2 persons are required. One is for driving the vehicle, and the other operates the Techstream.
