Replacement [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN TRANSFER OIL 

    See step  1

  2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

  3. REMOVE TRANSFER CASE OIL SEAL RH 
    1. Using SST, remove the transfer case oil seal RH from the transfer assembly.

      • SST: 09308-00010 
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the transfer case oil seal RH contact surface to the transfer assembly.

  4. INSTALL TRANSFER CASE OIL SEAL RH 
    1. Using SST and a hammer, install a new transfer case oil seal RH as shown in the illustration.

      • SST: 09950-60010 
        1. 09951-00350
        2. 09951-00580
        3. 09952-06010
      • SST: 09950-70010 
        1. 09951-07150

      Standard Depth

      33.5 to 34.5 mm (1.32 to 1.35 in.)

      NOTE:
      • Tap in the transfer case oil seal RH uniformly so that the transfer case oil seal RH is straight.
      • Do not tap in the transfer case oil seal RH in too far.
    2. Apply a small amount of MP grease to the lip of the transfer case oil seal RH.
  5. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or refer to INSTALLATION [11/2016 - ]

  6. ADD TRANSFER OIL 

    See step  2

  7. INSPECT TRANSFER OIL LEAK
