Fuel Pump Control Circuit [11/2016 - ]: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CONTROL THE FUEL PUMP / SPEED)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the Fuel Pump / Speed.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Active Test
Tester Display Control the Fuel Pump / Speed - Check whether the fuel pump operating sounds occurs when performing the Active Test on the Techstream.

- INSPECT CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY (C/OPN)
- Inspect the C/OPN relay.

- Inspect the C/OPN relay.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - C/OPN RELAY)
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Remove the C/OPN relay from the NO. 1 engine room relay block and NO. 1 junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- Disconnect the semiconductor pwr integration ECU connector.
- Remove the C/OPN relay from the NO. 1 engine room relay block and NO. 1 junction block assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Primary / Starter Signal.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Data List
Tester Display Starter Signal - Check the result when the ignition switch is ON and the engine starts.
