ACIS Control Circuit [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (OPERATE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE FOR ACOUSTIC CONTROL INDUCTION SYSTEM)
*a Port F *b Port E *c Air Filter *d Vacuum Switching Valve Assembly is ON *e Vacuum Switching Valve Assembly is OFF *f Air - Disconnect the vacuum hose from port F of the vacuum switching valve assembly (for acoustic control induction system).
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Active the VSV for Intake Control.
Powertrain > Engine > Active Test
Tester Display Activate the VSV for Intake Control - Operate the vacuum switching valve assembly for acoustic control induction system.
- Check the vacuum switching valve assembly air flow when switching the vacuum switching valve assembly.

Activate the VSV for Intake Control Specified Condition ON Air from port E flows out through port F OFF Air from port E flows out through air filter Result

- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (POWER SOURCE OF VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY)

(to Vacuum Switching Valve Assembly (for Acoustic Control Induction System))- Disconnect the vacuum switching valve assembly connector (for acoustic control induction system).
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEMICONDUCTOR PWR INTEGRATION ECU - VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the semiconductor pwr integration ECU connector.
- Disconnect the vacuum switching valve assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
