- INSPECT PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
*a Component without harness connected (Pattern Select Switch Assembly) Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 8 (2ND) - 5 (E) Pattern select switch on (Push) Below 1 Ω Pattern select switch off (Release) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.
- Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the pattern select switch assembly, and check the illumination condition of the pattern select switch assembly.
Standard
Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 7 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6 (ILL-)Illuminates *a Component without harness connected (Pattern Select Switch Assembly) If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.
