DTC P1617: Distance Control ECU Malfunction [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Description

In the dynamic radar cruise control system, the ECM and the driving support ECU assembly communicate with one another to control the system based on some designation information. If the designation information of the ECM and driving support ECU assembly is different or the driving support ECU assembly is malfunctioning, this DTC is stored.
