DTC P1578: Brake System Malfunction [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

CHECK FOR DTCS (ABS/VSC/TRAC)

Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.

Check for DTCs.

Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes

Result

Result	Proceed to
DTCs are not output	A
DTCs are output	B

Turn the engine switch off.

Result: 1

REPLACE ECM. Refer to COMPONENTS [12/2013 - 11/2016]

Result: 2
