DTC P0503: Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" Intermittent / Erratic / High [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

- CHECK FOR DTCS (ABS/VSC/TRAC)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes

Result Proceed to DTCs are not output A DTCs are output B - Turn the engine switch off.
Result: 2

GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (DTC CHART). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2013 - 11/2016]

- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Replace the combination meter assembly.
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

- Replace the combination meter assembly.
- CHECK FOR DTCS
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Clear the DTCs.
- Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
- Turn the dynamic radar cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON-OFF button).
- Push the cruise control main switch to -SET to activate the dynamic radar cruise control system.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Powertrain > Radar Cruise > Trouble Codes
