DTC P0500: Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

- CHECK FOR DTCS (DTC P0500)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Clear the DTCs.
- Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
- With the shift lever in D, drive the vehicle for more than 10 seconds when the engine coolant temperature is more than 20°C (68°F).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Powertrain > Radar Cruise > Trouble Codes

Result Proceed to DTCs are not output A DTC P0500 is output B - Turn the engine switch off.
