TC and CG Terminal Circuit [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TERMINAL TC OF DLC3 - ECM) 
    1. Disconnect the A43 ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F25-13 (TC) - A43-45 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω

      Standard Resistance (Check for Short)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F25-13 (TC) or A43-45 (TC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    3. Reconnect the A43 ECM connector.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TERMINAL TC OF DLC3 - ECM) 

    Result:  1

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TERMINAL CG OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F25-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  1

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [12/2013 - 11/2016] 

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TERMINAL CG OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
