Distance Control Switch Circuit [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MODE CHANGE SWITCH)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Data List.
- Check the Data List to confirm function of the vehicle-to-vehicle distance control switch.
Powertrain > Radar Cruise > Data List

The display changes in accordance with switch operation.

- Inspect the spiral cable sub-assembly.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY - DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the F61 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
- Disconnect the F84 driving support ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F61-12 (DIST) - F84-6 (SPSW) Always 3 Ω or less Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F61-12 (DIST) or F84-6 (SPSW) - Body ground Always 1 MΩ or higher - Reconnect the F84 driving support ECU assembly connector.
- Reconnect the F61 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
