Disassembly [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 16 bolts and stator shaft assembly from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      Keep the gears in the order they were removed.

  3. INSPECT CLEARANCE OF FRONT OIL PUMP AND GEAR BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING 
    1. Remove the front oil pump body O-ring from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR 
    1. Remove the front oil pump drive gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR 
    1. Remove the front oil pump driven gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL 
    1. Secure the front oil pump body sub-assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

      NOTE:

      Do not overtighten the vise.

    2. Using SST, remove the front oil pump oil seal from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.
      • SST: 09308-00010
