DTC P2757: Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Performance (Shift Solenoid Valve SLU) [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. CHECK OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P2757) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / ECT / Trouble Codes.

      Powertrain > ECT > Trouble Codes 

    5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Only DTC P2757 is output A
      P2757 and other DTCs are output B

      HINT: 

      If any DTCs other than P2757 are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

    Result:  2

    B 

    GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2013 - 08/2014]  Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2014 - 11/2015]  Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2015 - 11/2016] 

    Result:  1

  2. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU 
    1. Remove shift solenoid valve SLU.

      *1 Shift Solenoid Valve SLU
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 5.0 to 5.6 Ω
    3. Connect a battery positive (+) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector. Then check that the valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      OK

      Valve moves and makes an operating sound.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPLACE SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2013 - 11/2016] 

    Result:  1

    OK

  3. INSPECT TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the transmission valve body assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016]

      OK

      There is no foreign matter on each valve and they operate smoothly.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPLACE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2013 - 11/2016] 

    Result:  1

    OK

  4. INSPECT TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the torque converter assembly.

      Refer to INSPECTION [12/2013 - 11/2016]

      OK

      The torque converter clutch operates normally.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  1

    OK 

    REPLACE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2013 - 11/2016] 

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPLACE TORQUE CONVERTER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [12/2013 - 11/2016]
