Installation [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL PCV VALVE (VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly).

      Adhesive

      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

    2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, install the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) to the cylinder head cover LH sub-assembly.

      Torque: 27 N*m (275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

    3. Install the ventilation hose assembly to the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) and slide the clip to secure it.
  2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 84
