DTC C1440: Unusual Bank Angle Detected [12/2013 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ] .
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Start the engine.
- Perform a road test.
- Check if the same DTC is output.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ] .
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes
Result Proceed to DTC C1440 is output. A Yaw rate and acceleration sensor DTCs are output. B DTC C1440 is not output. C

REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS.

Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs
HINT:
- If the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) determines that the vehicle is being driven at a steep bank angle, the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) stores DTC C1440 while VSC operation is temporarily disabled.
- This is not a malfunction if the system and sensor circuits are normal and normal VSC operation resumes.
- Clear the DTCs.
