DTC C1436: Yaw Rate Sensor Malfunction [12/2013 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Select the Data List using the Techstream.
Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [11/2016 - ] .

Tester Display Yaw Rate Sensor - Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) output value displayed on the Techstream.NOTE:
Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement.

HINT:
If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing parts.

- CHECK AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) has been installed properly.
Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or INSTALLATION [11/2016 - ] .
OK
The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.
The sensor is not installed in a tilted position.
NOTE:Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement.
