DTC P2009: Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low (Bank 1); DTC P2010: Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit High (Bank 1) [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
The ECM activates the intake air control valve actuator (for tumble control valve), which opens and closes the Tumble Control Valve (TCV). The ECM activates the DC motor based on engine speed, coolant temperature, intake air temperature and other conditions.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | MIL | Memory |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| P2009 | Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low (Bank 1) | Both of the following conditions are met for 1 second (1 trip detection logic). (a) The output duty of the intake air control valve actuator is 34% or higher. (b) The current of the intake air control valve actuator is less than 0.35 A. |
