DTC P0010: Camshaft Position "A" Actuator Circuit (Bank 1); DTC P0020: Camshaft Position "A" Actuator Circuit (Bank 2) [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTC after recording the freeze frame data and DTC.

   Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Clear DTCs 

5. Turn the power switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
6. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 5 seconds or more.
7. Turn the Techstream on.
8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
9. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   DTC P0010 or P0020 is output	A
   DTCs are not output	B

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [11/2016 - ]

1. Inspect the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly (for intake camshaft).

   Refer to INSPECTION [11/2016 - ]

REPLACE CAM TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (FOR INTAKE CAMSHAFT). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

1. Disconnect the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly (for intake camshaft) connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   C63-2 - C1-5 (OC1-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   C64-1 or C1-34 (OC2+) - Body ground and other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   C64-2 or C1-4 (OC2-) - Body ground and other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher
