DTC B1532: LVDS Signal Malfunction (from Extension Module) [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the n5 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   n5-8 (GND2) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   n5-4 (+B2) - n5-8 (GND2)	Always	11 to 14 V
   n5-3 (ACC2) - n5-8 (GND2)	Ignition switch ACC	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to

1. Replace the navigation wire with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016] Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to

1. Replace the stereo component tuner assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016] Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2013 - ] 

1. Disconnect the n3 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the n5 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   n3-4 (+B2) - n5-4 (+B2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   n3-3 (ACC2) - n5-3 (ACC2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   n3-8 (GND2) - n5-8 (GND2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   n3-4 (+B2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   n3-3 (ACC2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
