TC and CG Terminal Circuit [12/2012 - ]: Procedure

1. Check the CAN communication system.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [12/2012 - 11/2013] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2013 - 10/2015] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2016 - ]

   CAN Bus Check 

   OK

   The CAN communication system is normal.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM:  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - 10/2015]  ,  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ] 

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Chassis > Tire Pressure Monitor > Clear DTCs 

2. Turn the ignition switch off.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
4. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]

   Chassis > Tire Pressure Monitor > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   DTC C2179/79 is not output.

Result: 

NG 

GO TO DTC C2179/79:  DTC C2179/79: Tire Pressure Monitor ECU Communication Stop [12/2012 - ]  

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the ECM A62 connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G14-13 (TC) - A62-23 (TC)	Always	Below 1 Ω

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G14-4 (CG) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

1. Connect the ECM A62 connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
