DTC P0327, P0328; Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor) [12/2012 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (KNOCK FEEDBACK VALUE)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Warm up the engine.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Primary / Knock Feedback Value.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Data List
Tester Display Knock Feedback Value - Read the value while driving the vehicle.
OK
The value changes.
HINT:
Malfunction does not occur Knock Feedback Value changes Malfunctions occur Knock Feedback Value does not change The Knock Feedback Value change can be confirmed by running the engine with a high load, for example, by activating the air conditioning system and racing the engine.

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Inspect the knock control sensor.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR - ECM)
- Disconnect the knock control sensor connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition X1-2 (KNK1) - B77-123 (KNK1) Always Below 1 Ω X1-1 (EKNK) - B77-124 (EKNK) Always Below 1 Ω X1-2 (KNK1) or B77-123 (KNK1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
