Operation Check [12/2012 - ]

  1. CHECK THERMOSTAT (LH Side) 
    1. Check the thermostat in the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

      *A for Manual Seat
      *B for Power Seat
      1. Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

        for Manual Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

        for Power Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

      2. Remove the front seatback heater assembly LH.

        for Manual Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

        for Power Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

      3. Reconnect the connector of the front seat cushion heater assembly LH and the connector of the front seatback heater assembly LH.
      4. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the front seat heater as shown in the table below.

        OK

        FOR MANUAL SEAT

        Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2        		 Front seat heater temperature 42°C (107.6°F)
        FOR POWER SEAT

        Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2        		 Front seat heater temperature 42°C (107.6°F)
        NOTE:

        Immediately after confirming that the seat heater is functioning normally, remove the battery leads. Failing to do so may cause the seat heater to overheat.

  2. CHECK THERMOSTAT (RH Side)

    1. *A for Manual Seat
      *B for Power Seat

      Check the thermostat in the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.

      1. Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.

        for Manual Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

        for Power Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

      2. Remove the front seatback heater assembly RH.

        for Manual Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

        for Power Seat (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] )

      3. Reconnect the connector of the front seat cushion heater assembly RH and the connector of the front seatback heater assembly RH.
      4. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the front seat heater as shown in the table below.

        OK

        FOR MANUAL SEAT

        Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2        		 Front seat heater temperature 42°C (107.6°F)
        FOR POWER SEAT

        Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2        		 Front seat heater temperature 42°C (107.6°F)
        NOTE:
