DTC C1AAA: FCM Destination Information Uninitialized [12/2012 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Clear DTCs.
    4. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs 

    Result: 

    NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      HINT: 

      Wait for a minute or more with the ignition switch ON.

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
    4. Check for DTCs.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes 

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs are output
      DTC C1AAA is output

    Result: 

    No DTCs are output 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - 11/2013]  or  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2013 - 10/2015]  .

    Result: 

    DTC C1AAA is output

  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DESTINATION INFORMATION) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Data List.
    5. According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Data List 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Destination Information Status of the country NOFIX, JPN, NA, EURO, AUS, GCC, SAFC, CHINA, CANADA, NZ, THAI, TWN or Read Error Actual country code -

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Data List 

      Tester Display
      Destination Information

      OK

      Country specification information for lane departure warning camera and vehicle match.

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015]  . 

    Result: 

    NG

  4. REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) 
    1. Replace the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with a new one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - ] .

    Result: 

    NEXT

  5. ADJUST LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA 
    1. Perform the lane departure warning camera adjustment.

      Refer to ADJUSTMENT [12/2012 - 10/2015] .

    Result:

  6. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Clear DTCs.
    4. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs 

    Result: 

    NEXT

  7. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      HINT: 

      Wait for a minute or more with the ignition switch ON.

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
    4. Check for DTCs.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes 

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs are output
      DTC C1AAA is output

    Result: 

    No DTCs are output 

    END (MAIN BODY ECU [MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU] IS DEFECTIVE) 

    Result: 

    DTC C1AAA is output 

    REPLACE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015]  .
