DTC C1AA3: Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit [12/2012 - 10/2015]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC (ABS/VSC/TRAC)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes
Result Proceed to Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output Vehicle stability control system DTCs are output
Result:
Vehicle stability control system DTCs are output
GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - ] .
Result:
Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output

- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Clear DTCs.
- Clear the DTCs.
Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs

- CHECK FOR DTC
- Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed between 50 km/h (32 mph) and 220 km/h (138 mph) and operate the lane departure alert system.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes
Result Proceed to No DTCs are output DTC C1AA3 is output
Result:
No DTCs are output
USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2012 - 11/2013] or HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2013 - 10/2015] .
Result:
DTC C1AA3 is output
REPLACE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA. Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - 10/2015] .
- Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
