DTC P0717, P07BF, P07C0; Input Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR INSTALLATION
- Remove the transmission valve body assembly.
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - ]
- Make sure that the connector is properly connected, and check the transmission revolution sensor installation.
OK
The installation bolt is tightened properly and there is no clearance between the sensor and transaxle case.

- Remove the transmission valve body assembly.
- INSPECT TRANSMISSION WIRE
- Disconnect the transmission revolution sensor connector.
*1 Transmission Wire *a Transmission Revolution Sensor Side *b Wiring Harness Connector Side - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the transmission revolution sensor connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR - ECM)
- Disconnect the B78 wiring harness connector.
- Disconnect the B77 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE SPEED SENSOR NT (TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR)
- Replace the transmission revolution sensor.

- Replace the transmission revolution sensor.
- CHECK IF DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P0717, P07BF OR P07C0)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Start the engine and turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2012 - ]
HINT:
Write down the currently output DTCs before clearing them.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Clear DTCs
- Perform the monitor drive pattern.
Refer to MONITOR DRIVE PATTERN [12/2012 - ]
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes
- Read the DTCs using the Techstream.
