Reassembly [12/2012 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR PANEL CUSHION 
    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the 2 new back door panel cushions.
    2. Connect the connector and detach the clamp.
  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR DAMPER STAY LOWER BRACKET LH (w/o Power Back Door) 

    See step  1

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR DAMPER STAY LOWER BRACKET RH (w/o Power Back Door) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR DAMPER STAY UPPER BRACKET LH (w/o Power Back Door) 

    See step  3

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR DAMPER STAY UPPER BRACKET RH (w/o Power Back Door) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Power Back Door) 

    See step  5

  7. INSTALL BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Power Back Door) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY SET LH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  3

  9. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY SET RH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  11. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Television Camera) 
  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  14. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  15. INSTALL REAR WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  16. INSTALL REAR SPOILER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  17. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS CHANNEL LH 

    HINT: 

    When installing the back door glass channel, heat the vehicle body using a heat light.

    Standard

    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    NOTE:

    Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.

    1. Clean the vehicle body surface.
      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Install a new back door glass channel LH.
      1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body.
      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the back door glass channel LH.

        HINT: 

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Install the back door glass channel LH.

        HINT: 

        Press the back door glass channel LH firmly to install it.

  18. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS CHANNEL RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  19. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  20. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  1

  22. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  24. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR WIPER LINK PIVOT WASHER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  25. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  26. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  27. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  1

  28. INSTALL WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  1

  29. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  30. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  1

  31. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE 
    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the door pull handle.
  32. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO. 1 SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Attach the 4 claws and 4 guides to install the back door No. 1 service hole cover.
  33. INSTALL BACK DOOR NO. 2 SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the back door No. 2 service hole cover.
  34. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 
    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the back door service hole cover LH.
  35. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  36. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the 13 clips to install the back door trim board assembly.
  37. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH 
    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the back door side garnish LH.
  38. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  39. INSTALL BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH 
    1. Attach the 4 claws and 4 clips to install the back door center garnish.
