Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [11/2015 - 12/2018] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [12/2018 - 07/2020] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [07/2020 -]

  4. REMOVE REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [11/2015 - 12/2018] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [12/2018 - 07/2020] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [07/2020 -]

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR UNDER SIDE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE REAR UNDER COVER 
  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  9. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the battery cooling blower assembly connector.

      *A for NICKEL METAL HYDRIDE BATTERY
      *B for LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
    2. Disengage the 2 clamps.
    3. Remove the 3 bolts.

      *A for NICKEL METAL HYDRIDE BATTERY *B for LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
    4. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the battery cooling blower assembly.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure not to touch the fan part of the battery cooling blower assembly.
      • Do not lift the battery cooling blower assembly using the wire harness.
