Removal [11/2015 - 12/2018]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the tonneau cover assembly.
  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD 
    1. Remove the rear No. 1 floor board.
  3. REMOVE DECK BOARD RETAINER 
    1. for LH Side:

      1. Disengage the clip and guide to remove the deck board retainer as shown in the illustration.
    2. for RH Side:

      1. Disengage the clip and guide to remove the deck board retainer as shown in the illustration.
  4. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Spare Tire) 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, while pulling the deck floor box LH as shown in the illustration, turn the clip to remove the deck floor box LH.

  5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH (w/o Spare Tire) 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, while pulling the deck floor box RH as shown in the illustration, turn the clip to remove the deck floor box RH.

    1. Remove the rear deck floor box.

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, while pulling the deck floor box LH as shown in the illustration, turn the clip to remove the deck floor box LH.

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the 2 luggage hold belt striker assemblies.
  13. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER 
    1. Disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides to remove the rear deck trim cover as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 
    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips to remove the cowl side trim board LH as shown in the illustration.
  16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  17. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Pull the upper part of the front pillar garnish LH toward the inside of the cabin to disengage the clip and the front pillar garnish LH from the base of the front pillar garnish clip.

      HINT: 

      Let the front pillar garnish LH hang from the front pillar garnish clip.

    3. While pushing the tabs of the front pillar garnish clip as shown in the illustration, disengage it.

      NOTE:

      The front pillar garnish clip is reusable if it is not damaged.

    4. When the front pillar garnish clip cannot be removed using your fingers:
      1. While pressing the part shown in the illustration with your finger, move the front pillar garnish clip in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

        Lift in this Direction (1)
      2. While pulling the front pillar garnish clip in the direction indicated by the arrow (2), push the part shown in the illustration with the end of a screwdriver and remove the front pillar garnish clip.
        NOTE:

        If the front pillar garnish clip is damaged, replace it with a new one.

      1. Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a piece of cloth or nylon and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish LH is removed.

  18. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

  21. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  22. REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Pull the lower center pillar garnish LH in the directions indicated by the arrows (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws (A).

    2. Disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the assist grip assembly.

  68. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side) 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration and remove the visor bracket cover.

    2. Pull the visor assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to disconnect it from the visor holder.

    1. for Windshield Glass Side:
      1. Disconnect each connector.
    2. for Front Pillar LH Side:
      1. Remove the protective cover.
      2. Using a clip remover, disengage the 4 clamps.

      3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
      4. Install the protective cover.
    3. for Front Pillar RH Side:
      1. Remove the protective cover.
      2. Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clamps.

      3. Disconnect each connector.
      4. Install the protective cover.
    4. for Rear Pillar RH Side:

      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      1. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

      1. Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.
      2. Disconnect the connector.
      3. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.
      4. Disengage the 6 fasteners and guide.
    7. Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.
