DTC P1CFA-12: IGB Signal Circuit Short to Auxiliary Battery [11/2015 -]: Procedure

  1. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR) 
    1. Check the connector connections and contact pressure of the relevant terminals for the hybrid vehicle control ECU connectors.

      HINT: 

      Refer to ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE [11/2015 -]

      OK

      The connectors are connected securely and there are no contact pressure problems.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    CONNECT SECURELY 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)) 
    1. Check the connector connection condition of the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).

      HINT: 

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - 12/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [12/2018 - 07/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 -]

      OK

      The connector is connected securely and there are no contact problems.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    CONNECT SECURELY 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IGB TERMINAL VOLTAGE) 
    1. Turn the power switch off.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component with harness connected
      (Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU)
      - -

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F3-44 (IGB) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 V

    Result:

    REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2015 - 12/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2018 - 08/2019]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2019 - 07/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [07/2020 -] 

    Result: 

    NG

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)) 
    1. Disconnect the F1 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Reconnect the F1 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

    REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2015 - 12/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2018 - 07/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [07/2020 -]

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
