Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2015 - 06/2017] and Refer to PRECAUTION [06/2017 - ] ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2015 - 06/2017] and Refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2017 - ] ).

  4. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 clips as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    4. Disengage the clamp and remove the combination meter assembly.
