1. Loosen the lock nut.

   Lock Nut

   NOTE:

   If the lock nut has been removed from the rod, replace the lock nut with a new one.

1. Remove the 2 nuts and front No. 4 floor heat insulator.

1. Remove the clip.

2. Remove the bolt and No. 1 fuel tank protector sub-assembly.

1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the parking brake cable stopper.

2. Separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.

3. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

4. Remove clamp B from the body.

5. Remove the 4 bolts, disengage clamp A and remove the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.

1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 parking brake cable clamp from the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.
