Removal [11/2018 - ]: Procedure

PRECAUTION
NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

	Remove in this Direction

Pull up in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to disengage the claws, and remove the luggage trim service hole cover from the vehicle.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

Loosen the nut and disconnect the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal from the auxiliary battery.

NOTE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY

Disengage the 5 claws and remove the battery terminal connector cover from the fusible link block assembly.

Loosen the nut and disconnect the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal from the auxiliary battery.

Remove the bolt, nut and battery clamp from the vehicle.

Disconnect the battery hose from the auxiliary battery.

Remove the auxiliary battery from the vehicle.
