Installation [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the No. 1 cylinder block insulator and 2 new O-rings to the No. 1 oil cooler bracket.
    2. Install the oil cooler assembly to the No. 1 oil cooler bracket with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose to the oil cooler assembly, and slide the 2 clips to secure them.
    4. Install the hose clamp with the nut to the cylinder block sub-assembly.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2016 - ]

  3. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    See step  4

  4. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK 

    See step  5

  6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
