Disassembly [12/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disengage the clamp.
    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Disengage 2 claws to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  2. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    for Corner Sensor:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    for Back Sensor:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 
    1. Disengage the 9 clamps to remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Disengage the 7 claws and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  8. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Remove the 5 clips.
    3. Disengage the 10 claws and 2 guides to remove the rear bumper extension.

  10. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the 2 clips.
    3. Disengage the 14 claws to remove the lower rear bumper cover.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION MOULDING LH (w/ Plated Moulding) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear bumper extension moulding LH.
  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION MOULDING RH (w/ Plated Moulding) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE MOULDING LH (w/ Plated Moulding) 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the rear bumper side moulding LH.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE MOULDING RH (w/ Plated Moulding) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 MOULDING TAPE 
    1. Remove the No. 2 moulding tape.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 clips as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear bumper side support LH.
  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH 
    1. w/o Mud guard:

      *A w/o Mudguard
      1. Remove the screw.
    2. Remove the 4 clips and rear bumper side seal LH.
  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. Remove the 6 nuts and No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.
