Removal [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT QUARTER PANEL WHEEL OPENING MOULDING 
    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Remove the 2 clips.
    3. Disengage the 4 clips and disconnect the quarter panel wheel opening moulding.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 QUARTER PANEL SEAL 

    HINT: 

    When removing the No. 2 quarter panel seal, heat the vehicle body and No. 2 quarter panel seal using a heat light.

    HEATING TEMPERATURE

    Item Temperature
    Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    No. 2 Quarter Panel Seal 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    NOTE:

    Do not heat the vehicle body or No. 2 quarter panel seal excessively.

    1. Remove the 4 screws.

      Double-sided Tape
    2. Remove the grommet.
    3. Separate the double-sided tape to remove the No. 2 quarter panel seal.
