Removal [12/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2016 - ] 

  2. DISCONNECT FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip
      *a 90°
    2. Remove the 2 screws.
    3. Remove the clip.
    4. Remove the clip.

    5. Pull back the edge of the front fender liner LH and disengage the 4 claws by pushing the area indicated by the arrow in the illustration with a finger.

      *a Push
      NOTE:
      • Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front fender liner LH.
      • To avoid damaging the claws, do not forcibly pull the front fender wheel opening moulding sub-assembly LH.
    6. Disengage the 2 clips and disconnect the front fender wheel opening moulding sub-assembly LH.
  3. DISCONNECT FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 8 screws.

    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. w/o Fog Light:
      1. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly, disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

        HINT: 

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. w/ Fog Light:
      1. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly, disengage each clamp and disconnect each connector.
        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

        *A w/ Intuitive Parking Assist Sensor System (for 6 Sensor Type)

        HINT: 

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    7. w/ Panoramic View Monitor System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.

    8. Remove the 3 clips and front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
