How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

    Result:  1

    NEXT 

    Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

    Result:  1

    NEXT 

    Go to next step 

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

      Result Proceed to
      CAN communication system DTCs are not output A
      CAN communication system DTCs are output B

    Result:  2

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. 

    Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

    Result:  1

    Go to next step 

  4. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM)* 
    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes 

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result:  2

    GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. 

    Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

    Result:  1

    Go to next step 

  5. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

    HINT: 

    Refer to Problem Symptoms Table.

    Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

    Result Proceed to
    Fault is not listed in Problem Symptoms Table A
    Fault is listed in Problem Symptoms Table B

    Result:  2

  6. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING* 
    1. Terminals of ECU

      Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

    2. Data List / Active Test

      Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

    Result:  1

    NEXT 

    Go to next step 

  7. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
    NOTE:

    When the lane departure warning camera is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the lane departure warning camera axis must be performed.

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [12/2013 - 11/2016] .

    Result:  1

  8. CONFIRMATION TEST
