Removal [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016]

  5. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  6. REMOVE BATTERY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  7. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016]

  8. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  9. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose.

  11. DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVE TANK HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the radiator reserve tank hose.

  12. DISCONNECT INLET NO. 1 OIL COOLER HOSE 
    1. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the inlet No. 1 oil cooler hose from the fan shroud.

  13. REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector.

    2. Disengage the 4 wire harness clamps.
    3. Disengage the 3 claws.

    4. Disengage the 3 guides to remove the fan shroud assembly from the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when removing the fan shroud assembly.

  14. REMOVE FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and fan.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and No. 2 fan.

  16. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector and disengage the wire harness from the 2 clamps.

      *A for 100 W Type
      *B for 200 W Type
    2. Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Disconnect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector and disengage the wire harness from the 2 clamps. (for 100 W Type)

    2. Disconnect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector and disengage the wire harness from the clamp. (for 200 W Type)

    3. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 cooling fan motor.
