Removal [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 

    See step  3

  2. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and tail exhaust pipe assembly from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).

    2. Disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
  3. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst) 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust pipe support.
    3. Remove the gasket from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
  4. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 gaskets from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.
  7. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET (for Lower Side) 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket.

  8. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and front exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH (TWC: Front Catalyst).

    2. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
