Removal [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

- REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)

- REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

- REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley.

- Remove the 8 bolts, the rear drive plate spacer, the drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly and the front drive plate spacer.

- REMOVE REAR ENGINE OIL SEAL
- Using a knife, cut off the lip of the rear engine oil seal.

Cut Position |
- Using a screwdriver, pry out the rear engine oil seal.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the crankshaft.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
