Disassembly [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn the back-up light socket with the back-up light bulb as shown in the illustration to remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the back-up light socket.
  2. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT SOCKET 
  3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET 
    1. Remove the rear light gasket.

      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old rear light gasket from the vehicle body.
      • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.
  4. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PROTECTOR 
    1. Remove the rear light protector.

      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old rear light protector from the vehicle body.
      • Do not reuse the removed rear light protector. Be sure to install a new rear light protector to prevent water ingress.
