On-Vehicle Inspection [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the M30 rear combination light assembly LH connector.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M30-2 (STP) - M30-6 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
      M30-4 (B) - M30-6 (E) Turn signal switch in neutral position Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ON, turn signal switch in left turn position 11 to 14 V
      (60 to 120 times per minute)
      M30-3 (TL) - M30-6 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.

  2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Rear Combination Light Assembly RH)

      Disconnect the M32 rear combination light assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M32-2 (STP) - M32-6 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
      M32-4 (B) - M32-6 (E) Turn signal switch in neutral position Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ON, turn signal switch in right turn position 11 to 14 V
      (60 to 120 times per minute)
      M32-3 (TL) - M32-6 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.
