Removal [08/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2022 - 08/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [08/2022 - 08/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [08/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE ECM 
    1. Rotate the 2 levers while pushing the locks, and disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.
      NOTE:

      After disconnecting the ECM connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and ECM.
      NOTE:

      If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 ECM bracket from the ECM.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.
