Removal [10/2020 - ]: Procedure

- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2020 - 08/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [08/2022 - 08/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [08/2023 - ]
- REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT
Refer to REMOVAL [06/2017 - ]
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Open the terminal cap.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Disconnect the generator assembly connector.
- Disconnect the compressor assembly with magnetic clutch connector.
- Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly connector.
- Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps and remove the wire harness clamp bracket.
- Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly bracket.
- Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
- Open the terminal cap.
